A'Bloom recently released their masks, make up sponges and blackhead blaster on Althea online.

They have 4 types of mask and they have been named by our mamasan Tammy Lim! Each type addresses 4 different concerns:
Sparkle-Me-Bright - for brightening
Ac-Me-Peach - for acne
Avo-Cuddle-Me - for nourishing
Water-Me-Long - for moisturising
I tried the brightening mask and my verdict is..i love it!! the masks were dripping with essence and i love how soft and almost gel like the mask sheets are.
They are currently on sale at RM18.00 for a pack of 10 so you better snap them up real quick!!
A'Bloom is also selling make up sponges and they are super cute in the shape of meringues!
However they are slightly a bit dense and not as bouncy as other beauty sponges. The littles ones can be used for under eye area but I felt like that shape although they are super cute, it's not the most practical. It's a bit squashed so it's kinda a bit hard to grip for blending.

Their last item is their BHA Blackhead Blaster stick. This stick helps to get rid of blackheads, whiteheads and clean your face from trapped dirt and oil. It is super easy to use where you just apply it on your face and the massage in circular motion. My face did feel clean and smooth so it has certainly removed the blackheads and whiteheads successfully! It's a painless way to get rid of blackheads and white heads.

Things have been pretty manic at work so haven't had the chance to update since the F1 weekend!
Anyhoo, today I wanted to share with you a new matte lippy from Bourjois!

For days when I can't quite be bothered for a full face make up, a red lippy goes a long way to give you a fresh look. Here I just applied foundation, eyeliner and the new souffle de velvet matte liquid lipstick!

This is in the colour 07 Plum plum pidou. I love that this is sheer matte. So if you don't want to stand out so much, you can blend it so that it's not super bright red. It is also does not dry your lips! The dofur application is also nice and soft.

Another plus is taking it off. I hate it when I am trying with all my might to take off the matte liquid lipstick but it's like a layer of paint that needed to be stripped off. With this one, all I needed was a dry tissue!

Loved using the mask and watching the it puff up inside the bottle cap! My face definitely felt super hydrated.
SEKKISEI Emulsion (140ml/RM191.80)
This quick-absorbing moisturiser works deep into skin, preventing freckles,
dark spots and dryness. Ingredients like Inula Britanica Flower, Chinese Pearl
Barley, Paeonia Albiflora Root, Melothria Heterophylla and Angelica
reveal a more translucent complexion. Apply 1 to 2 pumps
on a cotton pad and sweep over skin.
The emulsion
The moisturiser is light and not greasy. It absorbs quickly into the face and doesn't leave a shiny trace. I did not use a cotton pad to apply this though as I prefer to just use my hands. SEKKISEI Clear Whitening Mask (80g/RM94.30)
A gentle peel-off mask that removes dullness and dead
skin cells, brightens and hydrates at the same time! Chinese Quince extract
inhibits sebum production, while a blend of oriental plant extracts deliver
supreme whitening benefits. Nano-sized black powder allows the mask to spread
easily. I was shocked to find that the mask it black! I certainly had fun peeling it off my face and happy at the thought that dead skin cells are taken away too!

Overall verdict : I was pleasantly surprised at how my face did not experience ANY breakout during the one week trial. Phew! My face did not have any dry patches and I noticed that the redness has also decreased slightly. Also I noticed that usually midweek, my nose would feel bumpy from whiteheads. But since using the SEKKISEI range it was considerably less bumpy (i.e. less whiteheads!) After a week, I still have plenty of products so I will continue to use them.

The colour may look like it's super HOT pink. Honestly I was afraid to put this on at first but upon application it didn't turn up as bright as it looks! Check out the swatch below ok?!

This is a cool lipgloss as it has lights just below the lid. So if you're in a darkplace (ie the clubs or karaoke room) you can totally reapply your gloss. No problem!!

However I did find the tip quite sharp!! Like...adoi!! hehe But I managed to practice my cat winged eye lining skills!

As I previously told you, we all received a full sized Lip Tattoo from Shizens worth RM168 in our Butterfly Project Beauty Box.
Apparently the lip tattoo is suppose to add moisture to relieve the formation of fine lines. It also helps to lighten dark pigmented lip and gradually turn them into rosy tones.
