6th Wedding Anniversary Present

We have been married for 6 years!
Let's take a trip down memory lane :)

 2008 - London

2010 - KLCC

2011 - Nazrin was under a month then

2012 - Nazrin's birthday party

So as per usual I had to remind him that our anniversary was coming up :P If I had left it to him he would have no idea. Lucky that I did remind him as that day he was in Pavillion so he picked something up from Jo Malone!

This is my favourite scent as it was my first ever Jo Malone perfume (which was one of the hantaran). Unfortunaly I left the perfume somewhere and has been wanting to get a replacement. So I was super glad that he got the body creme in this scent! It's smell heavenly and it's so creamy. I go to bed feeling and smelling like a million bucks.

Thank you for the present. To an eternity of anniversaries with you yang. Love you!

Goodies from London

A friend of mine went to London and guess what I 'pesan' from her?

I wanted Burt Bees shampoo and wash and lotion! I used this for Nazrin for about a year from he was born and absolutely loved the smell. Fragrance free and free of all harmful chemicals for the delicate baby's skin, it's perfect! And they were about half the price in London compared to KL.

Then Diana also gave me the new limited edition Sakura cherry Blossom perfume! Love love 😍

Thank you ever so much for these goodies love!

Review - Jo Malone : Orange Blossom

When Ems came back, she asked if I wanted anything.
I asked her to buy me my Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey as I have lost mine.

But when she passed me the perfume, she got me a different one!

Orange Blossom
Lucky for me, this was the one I tried during the hand massage (Read here) and LOVED IT!

My collection

A shimmering garden oasis. Clementine flower sparkles over a heart of orange blossom and water lily, with warm undertones of orris and balsamic vetiver. Pure delight.

Here is a chart on what works with the perfume if you want to layer it. (sorry can't remember where I got this from eek)

Lucky for me I can layer this Orange Blossom with my English Pear and Freesia! BONUS!!

Thanks Ems for the perfume! *kiss*

Review- Jo Malone hand massage

My friend redeemed her free hand massage at Jo Malone the other day and it was for a plus one too!

Before the massage, you get to choose your "scent".
Jo Malone suggests that you layer two of their perfumes to get a more distinctive, bespoke smell.
On it's own a scent can be floral but by adding another, you make it warmer or fresher.

As their new scent is the Peony & Blush Suede, I decide to try that added with Orange Blossom.

The hand massage station

Making the bubbly warm hand wash

First, they made a warm bubbly concoction from their hand soap and lather your arms (past the elbows) with it. After wiping it dry, the started the massage using the body creme in Orange Blossom. The massage was nice and light and we both could fall asleep there and then! After that was done, the spritz the perfume in Peony on the arms.

Jid enjoying her massage

Before leaving they gave us free sample of the scents used! Not sure if you had to purchase something before they give this coz we bought something and the girl gave us both samples after paying.

Peony & Blush Suede
Orange Blossom
Personally I prefer fruity scents. I currently have Nectarine Blossom & Honey and English Pear & Freesia and I preferred Orange Blossom than Peony which has a lighter scent.

Overall, it was a nice experience! Thank Jid for inviting me along!
