Conversations with Nazrin #6

Nazrin is fully aware that I have a baby and he is getting either a brother or a sister.
Some mornings, he would get up and look towards my tummy and say "Good morning baby!"

He is also adamant that the baby is a boy!
When asked if he wants a baby brother or a baby sister, he would answer;
N - "I want a baby brother, I DON'T want a baby sister!"
M - "But we don't know yet if it's a girl or a boy, we have to wait until the baby comes out and see"
N - "BUT I KNOWWWW!!"

Super confident! We shall see my boy we shall see! However, over the weekend he suddenly changed his tune and all of a sudden he now wants a baby sister! Make up your mind please!

I was telling him that when the baby comes, he would have to sit in his car seat and baby would sit in his/hers too..then he added

N - "And then we hold hands?"

I think remembered a pic of Arshad and Danial sitting in their respective car seat and holding hands! So cute imagining that!!

Earlier that day I was telling him that later on when the baby is here he would have to help me, make the milk, change the diapers and bathe the baby as well. Then later in the car, I asked him;

M - "Nazrin, if you and baby are in the car at the back and the baby cries, what are you going to do?"
N - "I will make the milkkk, change the diaaaper, mandikan baby...."

I can't wait to see you as Big Brother!

1. In the car, he took my hand and Kimi's hand and put them together and said:
"Mummy, Appa HUGGGG"
(I think he meant to say, Hold Hands but it was so sweet nonetheless)

2. We've been meaning to take him for his haircut as it's too long (getting into his eyes), so yesterday he got into the car and said;

"My hair is long already, HAVE to cut!"
Kimi promptly took him to the barber's where he sat on the chair on his own (usually kena riba) and had his haircut.

Now looking mighty handsome!

He's been watching Finding Nemo lately.
His current favourite.

So often these days I hear him reciting lines from the movie

Nazrin : It's a butt, it's a really big butt
(he then swiftly added
Nazrin : It's a BOAT LAAAAA

hehe I often correct him that it's called a boat and not a butt!

He also dances and sings to "just keep swimming just keep swimming!"

Gahhh so adorbs!

I have been trying introduce the idea of school again by trying to convince him how fun it is.
This morning...

Me: "Nazrin do you want to go to school?"
Nazrin : "NO"
Me: "Are you sure?? School is fun!!"
Nazrin : "School is closed mummy"
Me: (pandai nya budak ni kelentong!)

He has even used the "sakit kepala" excuse! Haih...good luck to us next year when he REALLY does have to go to school!

When we got to his Nani's home, the maid picked him up to carry him inside.
Then he said,

Nazrin : "Nak sayang mummy!"
Came back into the car and gave me a kiss!!

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
