KL Butterfly Park

Over the weekend, Appa suddenly had the urge to take us to KL Butterfly Park (near Lake Gardens) even though he just finished his night shift. We were happy to oblige as I would like to take my Little Man out at least once over the weekend.

Extracted from their website;

From the words of the internationally renowned programme- Discovery Channel ,
in an interview and broadcasted to over 200 million viewers worldwide, it says “of all the butterfly parks in the world, none can compare with this one”.

This is the largest butterfly garden in the world spanning over 80,000 sq ft of landscaped garden with over 5,000 live butterflies, exotic plants, butterfly-host plants and ferns. Other attractions are japanese koi fish, fresh water turtles, live insects and a museum with a large collection of butterflies and insects from around the world.

Honestly I saw more koi fishes than butterflies and the place wasn't huge at all.
Not stroller friendly as there were stairs everywhere! I thought the butterfly garden at Changi Airport was better. I guess the website hasn't been updated for ages.

Anyways, Nazrin had a great time. Feeding the fish (RM5 for the food, available at the ticket counter) and chasing the butterflies. So it was a good outing after all.

Ticket prices : RM10 for adults (with MyKad)
Nazrin got in for free but didn't see how much for the kid's entrance fees (sorry!)

Butterfwyyy!

A pic with mummy. He was sleepy hence the "moody" face.
He did have fun though hehe

He made some friends. Not sure how those kids got the butterflies to stay on their shirts

He looks like such a big boy already in this pic!
