Have you SEEN the new Raya collection by Jovian Mandagie for Tesco?
I have to hand it to him, this collection is amazing! Orchids are SO me! well anything flowery is, so no wonder I am in love with this collection!
There are 16 designs in total consisting of kurungs, kebaya and dresses.
The kurungs are made up of lovely cutting peplums and kurung moderns while the kebayas are made of lace tops with mermaid skirts. Most of the designs feature an orchid applique fitting to the theme.
All designs are currently available for pre-order here at Tesco.com and available for pick up at your chosen Tesco store starting from 17th to 23rd of June. But get this, the best thing is no payment is required upon pre-order and should after you have tried it on after picking it up it suddenly does not fit you well, or IF you just simply changed your mind you can return it!
The other awesome PLUS point is that the price ranges from RM199 to RM300. Cheaper than his last AviRaya collection! And most materials are of polyblend satin which I much much prefer than another certain designer who tends to use jersey as his main choice of materials (and a higher price!).
However I MINUS point (but this perhaps only apply to me) is so of the designs have beautiful tops but the bottoms are pleated chiffon skirts which i definitely a NO-NO to my pear shaped body. If only I could just buy the top and I would wear them with jeggings or fitted pants. Oh and my friend miss Pink Brolly bought the dress and she is thinking of altering it and making it into a short dress. Wouldn't that be lovely??
