Butterfly Project and Yadah Spring Festival

Hellooo everyone!
*waves*

A few weeks ago, I was very lucky to have been able to attend the first event with The Butterfly Project for the year which was the Yadah Spring Festival with this cute girl above!

THE VENUE

The event was held at Little Wonton, TTDI.
I loved the decor of the shop. It's like a quaint little cafe located above Speedmart in TTDI.

The food they served were so yummy.
Banana Choc fried wontons were delish! Their main course for the day was their Spicy Thai Noodle which was soo yummehhhh....

BRAND INTRODUCTION

YADAH is a popular Korean brand for skincare and cosmetics.

Yadah is a range of skincare based on natural plant extracts like essential oils, floral water, barks and traditional herbs etc. that work in perfect harmony with the skin.

The gentle yet effective formulas are 100% free from artificial colouring, preservatives, mineral oil, sulphate and do not contain animal extracts of any kind. They are most suitable for young skin as this particular age range have more tender skin that is more vulnerable to harsh chemicals.

Their key ingredient is this cactus called Opuntia Ficus Indica.

Opuntia Ficus Indica is known for its strong anti-inflammatory and high potent antioxidant properties which help neutralise free radicals harmful to the skin.

Cactus is one of the few rare plants that can survive extreme weather conditions from the scorching hot barren sands to the freezing harsh winters in the deserts because of its unique ability to reduce water loss and it is for this very reason that it is able to prevent water evaporation from the epidermis and acts as a natural moisturiser to keep skin soft and hydrated both indoors and outdoors.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Yadah Oh My Sunblock

We were introduced to their new and improved sunblock.
We were tested with 3 unmarked sunblock to feel and smell the sunblock and try to guess which is the new Yadah's sunblock.

My thoughts on Oh My Sunblock
  • Super cheap at RM49 only when I just purchased a sunblock for RM276!
  • SPF 50 doesn't mean it's the best. Higher SPF means less absorption so SPF35 (Yadah's coverage) is sufficient enough
  • No stinging
  • Lovely scent!
  • Lightweight
Yadah Bubble Deep Cleanser

We were then asked to try their BEST SELLING PRODUCT, the bubble cleanser.
I drew on my hand with liquid and pencil liner. 2 pumps of the bubble cleanser then rub for about 1 minute. TADAHHHH...all clean and no residue of makeup.

Yadah Lip Balm Test

I was lucky enough to be selected to do the Lip Balm Test.
We had to put on the lip balm then I had to gobble up a bowl of noodles.

Although it was a competition and I didn't win, (FerFer was so quick!) we both won a full sized bottle of their ampules. I won the collagen ampule!

This Korean brand has really impressed me! With their natural sources which is perfect for my combination and sometimes sensitive skin, and easy on the pocket prices I will make the switch!

Of course the best bits of the event was seeing my Butterfly girls!!

We all came home with this goody bag!!
Mostly full size products and the tote was flown from Korea especially for us.
Thank you so much YADAH!!
