Bedtime stories

Our usual bedtime routine these days are milk before bed then i would pat his back side gently until he falls asleep. Unfortunately reading him a bedtime story is seldom in our routine so when I started to it's really hard to get to the end of the book as he would get distracted with his trucks or kompang. 

However since we bought his Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site book I am happy to report that he is gaining interest in books. He would ask for the book and say 'mummy baca'! At first we could only go a few pages, but every now and then we would get to the end of the book.

So if you want your child to be more interested in book (rather than the ipad) i suggest that you first find a book of things that he/she is interested in. 

Now need to look for more books on trucks! Will be heading to Big Bad Wolf soon!!
