Last week, Diana had a spare invite to attend La Mer's event at Westin KL.
Upon arrival we were greeted by Diana's SA Mindy who then treated us to a hand massage.

Us two waiting for the event to start |
The event was held in conjunction with World Ocean Day. La Mer has affiliated themselves with National Geographic in order to help preserve our ocean. Did you know that our coral reefs, if not taken care properly will become extinct? Did you also know that Malaysia is within the "Coral Triangle" where most corals and species of fish can be found? If we do not look after these corals and fishes, our kids may not be able to see them when they grow up.
Locally, La Mer works with Reef Check an organisation who monitors our corals and fishes. Last year La Mer has sponsored the monitoring of (the corals and ocean life) at Lahad Datu and will continue to sponsor it again this year.
This year La Mer has launched their limited edition World Ocean Day 2014 La Mer cream which is available at their counters (at a whopping RM1,600 per 100ml).
During the event, we were served with hi-tea by Westin.

I guess since the items are super expensive, unfortunately all the sample sizes are TINY! But thank you La Mer nonetheless. Can't wait to smother my face with thousand dollars worth of beauty!! Thanks Diana for inviting!!
