New perfume - Lancome : La Vie Est Belle

Last month, when the hubs went to the airport to send off his buddy, he came back with a surprise for me!!

A new perfume set from Lancome - La Vie Est Belle



It means Life is Beautiful - it indeed is when you get the odd surprise from the hubby! Thank you Yang!!

The set

The main four elements of the fragrance were (off the website):

Iris Pallida

Serving as the fragrance’s backbone, iris has been reinvented, taking on new-found magnitude. Generally expressed as a middle note, within this fragrance it blossoms from the first to the last note like never before. A precise blend of the richness of Florence Iris Pallida concrete, one of perfumery’s rarest and most expensive ingredients, adding a note of irone, enveloped in the sensuality of Iris aldehyde.

Jasmin

To illuminate and lift this floral heart, Sambac Jasmine and Tunisian orange blossom flowers were added, in the form of sublime absolutes.

Gourmand Accord

The fragrance’s smile, its delectable sweet facet – a burst of unexpected radiance. Like spun sugar infused with notes of vanilla, tonka bean, praline, blackcurrant and pear, it swathes the composition’s refined notes in childlike innocence.

Orange Blossom Flowers

To illuminate and lift this floral heart, Sambac Jasmine and Tunisian orange blossom flowers were added, in the form of sublime absolutes.

The bottle

I love the scent of this, thought that there was some vanilla in there but I guessed wrong.

This was also the EDP and yes EDP smell lasts so much longer compared to EDT.

So this one definitely gets the approval stamp!
