Iphone 5 defects - battery problems and power button. FREE REPLACEMENTS!

If you have an iPhone 5 and currently facing problem with your battery like I am, here's some good news for you. Apple is offering FREE battery replacements!!

My phone is usually at 100% when I wake up and by 10.30am it needs to be recharged!! Apple has admitted that there are issues with some iPhones which suffers shorter battery life (based on this article from Soyacincau.com).

First you need to check if your phone is eligible for a replacement (check here). If you are then it starts today!!!

Back in April, Apple has also acknowledge problems with power/wake button which my phone ALSO suffers from. Luckily my phone is eligible for both to be replaced so I am taking in my phone next week!

If you do take your phones in, DO follow the instructions on soyacincau's webpage OK? (ie back up etc)

I guess with fierce competition from Samsung and other phone companies, Apple are now REALLY taking care of their customer with their free replacement programs. THANK GOD for competition!! Good news for us consumers!!

Someone (*looks at Nazrin*) dropped my iPad recently so the cracked screen was annoying me. So i got a new iPad mini :p

So I had to go get a new casing for it pronto, in case it gets dropped again!

Loving the "Saffiano Leather" look of this casing.

No one gets to use this iPad except me! Nazrin and Kimi has to share the cracked old one *bahahah*

Then I browsed the iPhone cover section and got a new cover. Loved the old one (just a simple transparent silicone cover) as it was reliable - dropped it so many times! But from clear it turned brown from the make up transfer! It was getting kinda gross so time for a change (plus it was pay day :P)

I ended up with this one! 

Love the clear and transparent back!

Did you know that flickr is currently giving 1 terabyte of free space if you sign up with them? Yes 1 terabyte!!!!! Thanks for the heads up Natte'

For an avid picture taking mummy like me, I currently have almost 3k of of pics. (And I only recently got my iPhone in Dec last year) this is music to my ears!  You can sign up with your google email and voila! 1 tb at your disposal. I really want to save my iPhone pics somewhere and it is such a hassle plugging it in and trying to copy it to my hard drive. So comes the Camera Sync app. This is currently selling at $2.99 on iTunes but I thought it would be worth it. With this app you can wirelessly sync your Camera Roll to your flickr or dropbox! It claims that you can run it in the backgroud but I have found that it only runs in the backgroud but with time limits. Then you have to open up the app again.

It's not super fast so it's taking forever to upload to flickr but I do have almost 3k of pics including videos so I figured I do this once then after this it won't be so painful! But yeay I now have a backup of my pics and can also free up some space in my iPhone!
