Bag update!

Hello hello!!

I haven't had any bag update in a while! Well truth be told, I haven't bought anything new. I have been checking out these bags though. *Swwooonnn*

But obviously, these are all wayy outside my budget. So for now this will have to do!

My sister in law was in Europe a few weeks ago. I actually asked her to buy for me a wallet for Kimi. Not sure who reads this blog these days but the wallet is a surprise! So SSSSHHHH don't let it reach to him that I got him his present already!!! So after choosing his wallet (over Whatsapp, personal shopper style! Thanks Kak!), I gatal and ask her to get me a business card holder! 

She was shopping in Venice at the time and they didn't have the card holder in damier ebene as it was out of stock. Then kakak showed me this alternative in epi leather which I have never seen online! So I told her to get it!

It has 2 extra slots on the front and another slot on the cover.

I love how spacious it is inside though. I can put my business cards AND all my other cards as well. It's perfect!!

I can even use this when I use my smaller bags. Just quickly slip my IC and licencse at the front. One credit card inside and pop it into my handbag! Glad I bought this!!

Bag update!

Window Shopping at Louis Vuitton

I haven't posted anything Bag related so let me feast your eyes on some eye candy!!

Mummy and I went into LV, Suria KLCC over the weekend as mummy was thinking of getting something to mark her retirement. On the way to LV, we spotted a girl carrying a smaller version of the LV Kimono and it was so cute!!

So first thing we wanted to see was the Kimono PM.

This comes with a shoulder strap as well. I love the size and since it's in black it would make the perfect work bag! This one is RM11,200.

Then I looked at other bags, just for fun.

I have been eyeing on the Lockme II BB as well. I wanted to see if it was heavy especially with the metal short handle but it's not so heavy. That short strap is pretty short though.

This LV Twist WOC is cute as well. I love small handbags now since I usually have to carry the big diaper bag.

Tried this one for fun! They have it in all black too!

It's crazy how expensive LV bags are these days! Most of the bags are close to RM10k.
Oh the SA who served us was called Hanif and he was so nice and accommodating. So ask for him if you need help in LV ok?

Bag reveal - Louis Vuitton Alma BB

Finally!! After obsessing over this bag for so long, I finally purchased it.

From the last post I wrote about the new colour, it really did just PUSH me over the edge to just BUY it!

I enquired to a friend of mine (who sells Designer Bags at a cheaper than KL boutique prices as she goes to Europe and gets them herself - check out her IG Premiumshire) about the Alma BB Vernis in Dune, And I asked her to quote her price. Her price is cheaper by RM900 compared to KL Boutique price. So I told her "Ok I think I want to buy this, so maybe tomorrow I'll transfer you the money"

Then when I woke up the next morning and checked my Whatsapp, she sent me these;

She has actually purchased them!! Yikes!!
No backing out now :P

I was surprised that she bought them straight away as I haven't even transferred the money yet. Usually they wait for the money to be banked in first and then buy it. I guess because she is a friend and I have dealt with her before she completely trusts me!

So there you go! I finally got my Alma!!

I wore it the subsequent weekend to my aunt's open house, a wedding and to the movies.

I love how versatile it is! The size is perfect for dinners and weddings.

And you know how I wasn't sure if I wanted the crossbody or not? At the movies, my thoughts of why I needed it was confirmed. After the movie finished, lil boy was already asleep. So I had to carry him down 2 flight of stairs while the hubby carried the stroller. The crossbody was a godsend, making it easy to carry down my 14kg 3 year old son down!!

Bag reveal - Louis Vuitton Alma BB

Louis Vuitton Alma - new colour alert DUNE

I often stalk the LV website every now and then just to check up on my baby (the Alma - as I have written about this numerous times here, here and here). I also love feasting my eyes on their new bags and put then in my wishlist just for fun. LouisVuitton.com has also recently changed their website to a much friendlier and faster site. It used to take ages to browse through the bags and it takes forever for it to load. It's so much quicker now so yeay!

So I was browsing the brand new site last month and noticed that they have added a new colour to the Alma PM Epi Leather.

It's like a nude, light brown colour which is to die for! On the website there seems to be a hint of very light pink but when I checked it out at the boutique the pinkiness is not visible.

With this shade it's so much easier to match with so many colours!

To my delight a few weeks later, I noticed this colour popping up in the Vernis leather too!

 It also seems like they have discontinued the Alma BB in Rose Velours and Rose Angelique.

Now I am going googly eyes again over this new colour and it may have just pushed me to making my purchase!! Stay tuned to see WHICH of the bag I purchased!!!!! So excited to share!!!

Louis Vuitton Alma - new colour alert DUNE

Back to the Alma BB...

Clearly I am still not over this bag!

Saw on Instagram, our local actress sporting this bag in Vernis leather, so all day yesterday i was oogling this bag all over again!

This bag in vernis has a few new colours which are TO DIE FOR!

I am also loving it in these bright colours in the Epi Leather. These are my current colour choices, still can't decide!

There is also a new bag called the Louise. Kinda like the Chanel Wallet On a Chain but when I checked the sizes, it's much smaller than the Alma BB. So maybe it's not worth it.

On a different note, it was my sister in law's birthday yesterday. Usually on her birthday she would get an LV bag from her husband but this year she got UPGRADED to a CHANEL!! She got the beige medium classic bag. Apparently by 1st of May the prices are going to increase again by a whopping 16%. Making it nearly IMPOSSIBLE for me to buy...*cry*

The size is about the same as the Alma (mini...ie can't fit that much) but at a fraction of the price $195
